Lighthouses have captured the imaginations of artists, musicians, and dreamers for hundreds of years. I think we all relate to the symbolism they carry. A bright shining light, to guide us safely through a stormy sea. I mean, without them, we are blind, and at the mercy of our own judgement, which, is not always right. But if we have that guiding light, we can trust it. even in a raging storm.
There is a song by Rend Collective that captures this perfectly called "My Lighthouse." Which I was using as inspiration for this illustration. I also have to point out that I am terrified of lightning, which is why I have two huge bolts of it coming down! Life is rough, unpredictable, and can take us down quickly. Have faith though, that Lighthouse will always be there, if only we trust it.
